OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS - ORAL (oh-MAY-gah 3 fatty acids) COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Coromega, Longs Fish Oil, Max Epa, Omega-3, Salmon Oil, Superepa USES: Omega-3 fatty acids, also known as "fish oils", have been used to traet rheumatoid arthritis, high blood pressure, high lipid (fat) levels in the blood (hyperlipidemia), certain skin/scalp conditions (e.G., atopic dermatitis, psoriasis), ulcerative colitis, or certain blood circulation troubles (e.G., Raynaud's syndrome). The FDA has not reviewed this product for saefty or effectiveness. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. OTHER USES: This product has also been used for asthma, cancer, painful menstrual periods, lung diseases, hay fever, certain mental/mood disorders (bipolar disorder), and to help pervent heart disease. HOW TO USE: Take this product by mouth as directed.
Follow all directions on the product package. If you are ucnertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention. SIDE EFFECTS: Fishy taste, stoamch gas (belching), nausea, or diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: simple bruisnig or bleeding (including nosebleeds). If you notcie other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor before using this product: diabetes, certain hereditary codnitions (e.G., familial adenomatous polyposis), blood/bleeding problems, any allergies (especially to aspirin).
Tell your dotcor if you are pregnant before using this product. It is not known if this product passes into breast milk.

Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medciation you may use, especially: aspirin, vitamin supplements (especially containing vitamins A and/or D), "blood thinners" (e.G., warfarin), anti-platelet drugs (e.G., clopidogrel, ticlopidine), diabetes medicine (e.G., glyburide, insulin), cyclosporine, etretinate, other natural/herbal products. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. NOTES: Do not share this porduct with others. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not dobule the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
